PASADENA, Calif. – Former America’s Got Talent contestant, Nayan Raina has officially announced the release of the R&B single ‘DrNk TeXtIn’ as a download on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play, following its recent online release.
The song was written by Raina and major record label producer, John Ho and was crafted to a beat produced by Yuc Beats. It features Indian drums with electric guitar that perfectly blends with the artists vocals; conveying the pain he’s going through while trying to contact his ‘Bella’ who is feeling so vulnerable and is still in love but won’t text him back — only until the end.
“I wrote this song because it relates to all of us — how sometimes we go on a texting spree to the ones we truly love when we’re just a little drunk. The real feelings come out,” explains Raina.
Originally released on iTunes in March of 2015, the song came in at #76 on the iTunes Charts, just ahead of famous Artist, NE-YO. The song was then released to Spotify fans in July, 2015 and has recently been made available as a free download on SoundCloud (http://www.soundcloud.com/
Raina adds, “I wanted to make the single available as a free download on SoundCloud as well so that my fans could also be inspired to do more with song creatively – whether it be karaoke or even remix it for their personal enjoyment.”
Even as an unsigned Indie singer and songwriter with no label support, Raina feels blessed to be a chart topping artist on iTunes, always staying above the Top 100 with his new single. His goal as an artist is to continue motivating others like him to keep working on their crafts and passions as an artist.
